Mrs. Zakes PreK family is learning all about chicks, complete with eggs in the classroom. They are counting down the days until they hatch each day. Candling the eggs to see how they are developing inside is a classroom favorite thing to do for Science. It is so cool to see the embryo move about inside the egg. They can't wait to see them hatch soon.
The weather is finally showing signs of Spring. Along with that theme, they have a flower shop in the classroom, a sensory bin for planting, and outdoor recess for picking dandelions. Mrs. Zake's class is living the best life in PreK as they learn and grow together!
