In kindergarten, we talk about the many ways we can show kindness to others. This February the kindergarten team reached out to the families to ask for help in teaching the children about kindness and generosity.

Ady West, a young girl from Livonia, started an organization seven years ago called “Ady’s Jamies” after one of her many stays at the Golisano Children’s Hospital. She noticed that many of the kids don’t have soft, comfy jammies during their hospital stays.

The kindergartners had a goal to collect 100 new pairs of jammies. They collected 89 pairs!!! They also made cards that can be given to the kids in the hospital when they receive a new pair of warm jammies. Ady made a special visit to Dansville Primary School to thank the kids herself!!! Way to go Kindergarteners!!!!
